It was just three days in the dead of winter, but it was Paris Couture Fashion week. Here we have the run down from a few of the shows.
Dior
The etheral fairytale which was Dior's show was laced with florals signaling that spring is not so far away. Raf Simmons also included a pop of orange and yellow to the collection.
Paco Rabanne
We saw lots of skin through the sheer fabrics and otherwise. This collection of predominantly short dresses featured a bit of embellishment and shine. Loving the swingy/flouncy skirts.
Chanel
The chic collection featued lots of tweed, trimming, mini skirts and a splash of florals. The stand out sleeves on many of the pieces surely caught the eyes. And of course how can we not mention the twin brides capped off Chanel's runway.
Murad
There's definitely a love affair with gold going on here and we're loving every inch of it. Feminine, glam and sultry aptly describe evey piece of this collection; from the structured to the flowing. Courture anyone?
I love how Murad used the gold and bronze. Very pretty!
