Review NYFW S/S 2014 - Day 7 & 8

New York Fashion Week is now officially over, though on Wednesday we tweeted that the Lincoln Center crowds had disappeared as many made their way to London. Today we review the runway shows of Micheal Kors and Calvin Klein, two New York fashion heavy weights who can show on the last two days, minus the crowds. MJ, we didn't do a review of your show this time around, but we love you too.

Michael Kors

Michael Kors brought in the heat by using electric colors. Using pops of color is a great accessory and it'll keep things alive! There was also some florals on this runway. MK is trying to bring back the 70s, or so it seems. His silhouettes and the cuts of his fabric scream that 70s show, but with a bit more edge.

Calvin Klein

Sheer panels and a bit of fringe to Calvin Klein's signature minimalism and we love it. The color palette on this runway were predominantly white, followed by black and a hint of muted colors.
