Milan Fashion Week S/S 2015 - Puglisi, Jean, Versace, No.21

Fausto Puglisi

Puglisi presented us with quite a varied show. There were still some of his signature minis, along with lovely metallic gold and a few holy pieces (perhaps for the beach).
The orange presented at the Fausto Puglisi show was a welcome dash of color, amid the predominantly black and white palette of geometric prints.

Stella Jean

Stella Jean's S/S 2014 collection retained the bold color that she burst unto the fashion scene with during her first collection. The designer leaves us longing for tropical vacations and exotic locales with her multicultural prints. The collection comprised of feminine pieces(mainly skirts and dresses) with just a few pants.

Versace

Lots of color blocking, sheer panels and geometric prints on this runway.
I love the Greek key and white stitching detail on some of the pieces.

No. 21

If disdain for convention was the inspiration for this show, then the No.21 may have hit the mark. However, how much convention is really present in most runway shows anyway?
Lots of lace and tartan as well as footwear decked out in giant bows made for an intriguing show.
